DCI INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD 26cm Stainless Steel Fry Pan
General Guidelines for the use of Stainless-Steel Pans Before using the product remove any labels and wash with hot water and detergent. Use on a low heat so that the food does not stick to the bottom of the pan, the tri-ply base is made of stainless steel + aluminium + stainless steel which distributes heat uniformly, so that using high heat is unnecessary. We recommend the use of gloves when handling a stainless-steel pan as the handles get hot.
Some food containing starch such as pasta and rice, may discolour the inside of the pan. Avoid leaving food in the pan for a long time as salt and other spices may cause blotches in the pan. These marks can easily be removed by mixing 3:1 solution of water: white vinegar and bringing it to the boil for approximately 10 minutes. Wash and dry the pan as usual. There are similar solutions available using baking soda in place of the vinegar.
Chloride and other substances in the water may discolour the inside of the pan. This is common, however the solution to this is as above and will remove the discolouration
Whenever possible, rinse the pan with hot water after washing and dry immediately with a soft cloth to maintain the original sheen. These pans are oven safe to a maximum temperature of 260°C.
Do not leave an empty pan over a source of heat.
