"Good Morning Sunshine" is a Still Life artwork that captures the morning sun streaming in through my kitchen window onto a hot cup of tea with some lemon on the side. With a beautiful warm colour palette, it gives a lovely sense of slowing down and enjoying life.

This year I began exploring Still Art for the first time. The genre had been calling to me for quite some time and finally I gave in and was delightfully surprised by the results. I was instantly drawn to the shadows and light hitting the objects and explored how I could bring them to life through illustration. This collection has come together from those illustrations.
