Even Toys And games Sprawlopolis
In Sprawlopolis, 1-4 players work together to build a new city from the ground up. Using only 18 cards and a variable scoring system, the game is never the same twice. Each turn, players will play 1 card from their hand to the growing city, trying to score as many points as possible. Players will have to communicate and plan without revealing their own cards in order to most efficiently develop large areas in each of the 4 zone types. Watch out though, the city hates paying for road maintenance so each road will cost you points in the end. When all cards have been placed, the game ends and players see if they have met dynamically generated minimum score for their game. Can you meet the demands of the officials, work with your fellow planners and build the ultimate urban wonder? It’s time to find out!
Jackhammers chattering, trucks beeping, engines roaring, the sounds of construction are everywhere. Sprawlopolis is growing and YOU are in charge of it all. The last team of planners couldn't cut it, so the city turned to your team, the best of the best. If anyone can turn this tiny town into a thriving civic center it's you.
Players: 1-4 Length: 15-20 minutes Ages: 8+ EXPANSIONS Included
Wrecktar, Construction Zones and Points of Interest Expansions (1 Wrecktar card, 4 Construction Zones Block/Goal cards, 1 Points of Interest card)
A monster is rampaging through the city, taking down building with every step! A one card disaster, hits Sprawlopolis.
Wrecktar adds a card to the deck that covers the previously played card when it comes to the top of the draw pile and incurs scoring penalties.
Construction has started and is adding an unwelcome wrinkle to your city planning! A four card irritation comes to Sprawlopolis.
One Construction Zone requirement is added to the game goals. The other three go into deck. If the construction blocks are not completed (built over) by game end, they incur scoring penalties.
Builders from the next city over have come to help get you started! A one card assistant visits Sprawlopolis.
Points of Interest helps you by giving you a starting card that has a point of interest that generates scoring for surrounding it with appropriate block types.
Beaches Expansion (4 Beach Block/Goal cards)
It's time to build this little beach town into a sprawling maritime city! A four card coast shapes Sprawlopolis.
One Beaches requirement is added to the game goals 3 scoring conditions. The other three go into deck. When you draw a Beach card, you must play it immediately. Each Beach will create a new border that you cannot cross with other cards. During the game, you must define 3 out of 4 borders (north, south, east, west) and continue to build your city within those edges.
Interstate Expansion (4 Interstate Block/Goal cards)
The city has been divided in two by a massive Interstate highway. Zoning rules don't allow you to cross the Interstate, so you must work with what you've got... a smaller, more competitive Sprawlopolis! A four card highway divides Sprawlopolis.
The 4-card Interstate highway divides your city into two halves. Play options include 2-player cooperative, 2-player competitive, and Solo. In solo, each turn you alternate which side you play on. In competitive games, 3 cards are used to build the Interstate, and one chosen is added to the game goals 3 scoring conditions.
