This pendant/necklace is handmade in Tasmania from sustainably sourced bamboo, recycled silver and glass.

This unique design is created from our original photograph of buttongrass, taken at the Vale Of Belvoir, Tasmania (Australia)

The waxed cotton cord has been finished with sliding knots so the piece can be worn at different lengths in order to suit the neckline of your customers garment

Story

The iconic buttongrass of the Tasmanian wilderness. The unique shape of this moorland plant creates the perfect silhouette to really capture the essence of this wild island. I photographed this buttongrass at the Vale Of Belvoir reserve near Cradle Mountain. The Vale is a true biodiversity hotspot, featuring some of the biggest concentrations of precious Tasmanian flora and fauna.
