Handmade in Tasmania's beautiful Meander Valley This unique earring design was created from our photograph of a myrtle tree sapling, growing on the Overland Track in the Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park (Tasmania, Australia) Earrings are made from glass set into stainless steel. The hooks are also stainless steel, which is excellent for sensitive ears Earring size: 14mm

Story

The Overland Track is a fantastic way to explore the heart of the Tasmanian wild country. Stretching from Cradle Mountain to Lake St. Clair, the track covers a stunning variety of alpine landscapes. It was on this 6 day hike that I happened across a little Myrtle tree poking through the snow on the Du Cane Gap.
