Dating back to a small boutique in Paris in 1700,Herbin Fountain Pen Ink is one of the best in the world, both in smoothness of writing and breadth and brilliance of colour palette.

Vert Pre is named for the first young shoots of grass that appear on the prairies in early spring and provide beauty, inspiration, and optimism for the months ahead. Fresh and light, this ink has a suggestion of bulger grain and is suited to darker papers. It runs a little less smoothly compared to most other Herbin inks.

All Herbin inks are pH neutral and non-toxic. They are water-based and therefore will run if wetted. The inks are light fast and only natural dyes are used. We recommend high quality paper with Herbin Ink.
