34 x 14x 13cmsAedes Vestae (Temple of Vesta) housed Vesta's Holy Fire; a symbol of Rome's safety and prosperity. Unique in it's circular design the temple was demolished in 1549AD. It wasn't until 1931 that 2 of the Temple of Vesta's bays were reconstructed and these still stand today.
