Intended to depict the heavens, the origin of the dome in Islamic architecture is sometimes attributed to the 15th century CE Ottoman Empire, typically used in monumental scale as a central feature, and capping minarets, in a variety of styles. Our trio of satin-finished condiment shakers employs the onion-shaped form evocative of exotic fables.
