Native to eastern Australia they look like they've been made from parts of other animals - they have a duck beak, otter body and a beavers tail! They're found in freshwater rivers and creeks. Platypuses symbolise individuality, adaptability and quiet confidence - a reminder that you don't have to fit into expectations to belong. Our Platypus earrings began as an original illustration in our home studio and have been thoughtfully transformed into lightweight earrings using recycled plastics - right here in Brisbane, Australia.
