The popular Seto-yaki Animal Series now includes the polar bear, an idol of the Arctic. The cute, chunky body is a Seto-yaki pot made by artisans in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. The bear drinks water from the dish and grows plants on its back. We focused on creating an exquisite silhouette that combines a timeless stylish design with the cuteness of the fluffy polar bear. The included saucer is also made of domestically produced pottery.
