STORY: This Scarf is created from an image of the bark from a native Australian Eucalyptus Tree. The texture and colours form a Opal like pattern which blends with the random texture of the original tree. Eucalyptus is a diverse genus of flowering trees and shrubs which dominate the tree flora of Australia. The appearance of the Eucalyptus bark varies with the age of the plant, the manner of bark shed, the length of the bark fibres and the degree of furrowing.

THIS 100% PURE SILK CHIFFON SCARF (AWTA Tested) is 8mm (35gms per square metre) which is slightly heavier with superior colour and durability than the standard 6mm (26gms per square metre). It has a plain-weave, is smooth, absolutely sheer with a subtle silky sheen, drapes well yet feels weightless against the skin. Silk Twill, Silk Habotai and Silk Tabbi are different in weight, touch, sheen and feel.
