STORY: The resemblance between a peacock’s feathers and a Australian Tree fern is amazing so we combined photos of them both to create a scarf with vibrant colours and a complex pattern. The Indian Peacock has iridescent blue and green plumage which he displays as part of the courtship ritual. Peafowl were Introduced to Australia in the 19th Century. Dicksonia Antartica is a species of evergreen tree fern native to Eastern Australia from Queensland to Tasmania.

THIS 100% PURE SILK CHIFFON SCARF (AWTA Tested) is 8mm (35gms per square metre) which is slightly heavier with superior colour and durability than the standard 6mm (26gms per square metre). It has a plain-weave, is smooth, absolutely sheer with a subtle silky sheen, drapes well yet feels weightless against the skin. Silk Twill, Silk Habotai and Silk Tabbi are different in weight, touch, sheen and feel.
