STORY: Mt fuji, Cherry Blossoms and the Kimono. The concept for this image was to delicately merge the three National icons of Japan with a pattern of the spring Cherry Blossoms. An active volcano, Mt. Fuji rises 3776m. above sea level. Mt Fuji is commonly called Fuji-san in line with its sacred status in Japan. Cherry Blossoms (Sakura) are Japan’s national flower and bloom with the approach of warmer spring weather. The Kimono is the traditional Japanese garment mostly worn by women on special occasions.

THIS 100% PURE SILK CHIFFON SCARF (AWTA Tested) is 8mm (35gms per square metre) which is slightly heavier with superior colour and durability than the standard 6mm (26gms per square metre). It has a plain-weave, is smooth, absolutely sheer with a subtle silky sheen, drapes well yet feels weightless against the skin. Silk Twill, Silk Habotai and Silk Tabbi are different in weight, touch, sheen and feel.
