STORY: Three Mother Koalas and their Joeys. Koalas are one of the world’s most iconic animals and are found exclusively in Australia. The Koala is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial dining almost solely on eucalyptus leaves. Koalas give birth to immature young that crawl into their mothers pouches and stay for around six months. Having a low nutrition diet Koalas sleep about 18 hours a day. Along with the Kangaroo the Koala is recognised as a symbol of Australia. This scarf highlights that Koalas are well camouflaged in their natural habitat among the trees and leaves.
