STORY: Puffing Billy Steam Train crossing Monbulk Creek Trestle Bridge. Puffing Billy is a century-old steam train that continues to run on its original mountain track, which was constructed in Victoria in the early 1900s to open up remote areas. Now a major Melbourne tourist attraction it authentically transports visitors back in time and on a delightful journey through the temperate forest’s lush fern gullies and Mountain Ash trees.The concept for this Scarf was to give a ‘fresh air feeling’ and dense forest effect on a photograph of Puffing Billy crossing the Monbulk Creek Trestle Bridge.
