STORY: Photographing in the ancient Egyptian tombs was an amazing experience – red colouring and artwork was selectively used to enrich an already beautiful image. A painting in the Tomb of the Artisan Sennedjem who decorated the Royal Tombs of the 19th Dynasty New Kingdom (1200BC).The East Wall painting “The Fields of the Netherworld” depicts the presumed afterlife for Sennedjem and his wife Lyneferti. They are shown harvesting in the abundant fields of the next World.
THIS 100% SILK TWILL SCARF: (Tested by AWTA ) combines the utilitarian strength of the Twill weave whilst maintaining a fine smooth texture. It has a wonderful drape, great lustre and gives a sheen to enrich vibrant colours. It is ideally suited to complement styled garments. Weighing approximately 50g per square meter it is rated at 12mm in the silk weight scale. Silk Twill is different from Silk Chiffon, Silk Tabbi and Silk Hbotai in terms of characteristics weight, touch and feel.
