STORY: Bass Strait is the channel separating the Australian Mainland and Tasmania with the Pacific Ocean to the East and the Indian Ocean to the West.The rugged Southern Coast of Australia has seen many a shipwreck in bygone days. As waves come crashing to the shoreline tiny air bubbles form. In this case the air bubbles formed as the Ocean waves were breaking against the rocky coastline. Like waves these bubbles are in constant flux creating ever changing patterns and these magical patterns are the essence of this scarf.
THIS 100% SILK TWILL SCARF: (Tested by AWTA ) combines the utilitarian strength of the Twill weave whilst maintaining a fine smooth texture. It has a wonderful drape, great lustre and gives a sheen to enrich vibrant colours. It is ideally suited to complement styled garments. Weighing approximately 50g per square meter it is rated at 12mm in the silk weight scale. Silk Twill is different from Silk Chiffon, Silk Tabbi and Silk Hbotai in terms of characteristics weight, touch and feel.
